ISLAMIC UNITY & GOVERNANCE BASED UPON THE QURA'N, THE EXAMPLE & COMMANDS OF THE PROPHET (SAW) AND THE METHOD OF THE SALAF |
|
EID MUBAARAK TO THE MUSLIM UMMAH OF MUHAMMAD (SAW). The Sharia'h authority, in the UK under the Naai'b of the Khaleefah and the Umaraa of different regions including (the Ameer of) Pakistan confirm that the moon of Shawwaal has been sighted in Pakistan by Muwahhid, Muslims whose testimony is accepted (19th September 2009/1430ah). Taqabbal minnaa wa minkum [May (Allah swt) accept from us and you (our good deeds)] We ask Allah (swt) to make this Ramadaan a foundation of reform [islaah] for the ummah in which we apply taqwa and shukr collectively in making walaa' with believers and baraa' from kuffaar and reviving the sunnah and system of Islam. Al Hamdulillahi Rabbil A'lameen...We ask Allah (swt) to relieve the oppressed Muslims wherever they are and that the disbelievers are guided to Islam and the active and unrepentant enemies of Muslims and Islam be humiliated, cursed and defeated. May Allah (swt) Guide us all to the Truth and Save us from straying, kufr, bid'a, the hellfire, the punishment of the grave, the trials of life and death and the fitnah of Dajjal . Ameen. We give shukr to Allah for guiding us to the only legitimate system in Islam, Khilaafah upon tawheed. Al Hamdulillah we are not practising Ramadaan, the Salah, Eid and the affairs in general according to bid'ah, tafarruq and kufr. May Allah guide us to strengthen our understanding and our system and guide more people to it, rather than the false opinions, conjecture and jaahileeyah of the firaq and mubtadia'h. |

UNITY is a Command of Allah (swt) with a Clear Method of Implementation |
|
Many people in the muslim world call for unity but they adopt a method which is
in contradiction to its own objectives. They call for unity but adopt a divisive
methodology. Allah (swt) does not allow such contradictions in the deen, Allah (swt)
says "....establish the deen and do not make divisions in it..." (ash
Shoora 42:13) and Allah (swt) says "Do they not then consider the Quran? Had
it been from other than Allah they would surely have found therein many
contradictions." (an Nisaa' 4:82) So if we find clear contradiction between
the method and the objective, then we know this method is not from Islam. We can
tell the Muslims 'Let us unite as one, let us unite as one' and at the same time
say 'We will do this by being many groups, so come and join my group'. This a
contradiction. Islam accepts differences when the Divine Texts allow for
differing interpretation but to divide into hundreds or thousands of separate
entities, each an authority unto themselves.......then this is far fom the
Islamic system of unity and it has no basis in the Quran, the Sunnah and it
contradicts the intellect. In fact Allah (swt) associated division with the
stupidity of the unbelievers so we should not imitate them in that, Allah (swt)
says "....Their enmity among themselves is very severe. You would think they
are united but their hearts are divided that is because they are a people who do
not use their intellects." (al Hashr 59:14) 1) Unifying upon the correct beliefs (imaan) this is clear from the ayah "Verily only the believers are a brotherhood" (al Hujuraat 49:10) and the ayah "And be not like those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment." (aali I'mraan 3:105) and "Verily, this ummah of yours is one ummah and I am your Lord so worship me" (al Anbiyaa' 21:92) There are many other clear evidences to prove this point. 2) The unification under one Imaam. This is proven by many
evidences e.g. Allah (swt) says "And hold fast to the rope of Allah all of
you together and be not divided..." (aali I'mraan 3:103) The 'rope of Allah'
was described by Ibn Masoo'd to be the 'Jama'ah' [Tafseer of TABARI] and the
jama'ah are those who are gathered under the Imaam and upon the correct beliefs
as collectively transmitted by the ijmaa' of the sahaabah. Even if other
interpretations for the phrase 'rope of Allah' are adopted, such as that which
some of the salaf transmitted, that it refers to 'the Qura'n' then again there
is no contradiction and the obligation to be unified upon the beliefs of Islam
and under a singular shara'ee authority still are emphasized. This is because
the ayah commands making i'tisaam [holding fast] to the Quran includes the whole
of the Quran and that includes its beliefs and laws. The beliefs and laws of the
Qura'n can not be adhered to completely and comprehensively except in a
collective manner as those beliefs require establishing certain relationships
and severing certain relationships and the laws involve collective matters which
can not be applied by individuals alone (such as matters of co-operation in birr
and taqwa, fighting in the cause of Allah in rows as if one structure, judging
in the disputes of people along with just witnessing, establishing the salah
along with its subsidiary rules, the collection and distribution of the zakah
etc.) Secondly, the ayaah gave the command of i'tisaam in the collective
[plural] verbal structure 'watasimoo' which was an address to all the believers
as an ummah and not just an individual from among them. Thirdly, the ayah
commanded to make i'tisaam to the rope of Allah 'jamee'an' [altogether] meaning
that the believers should hold fast to the beliefs and laws collectively and not
just individually and it would be impossible to adhere to this collectively
without submitting to a singular organizing authority. On this point Haafiz Ibn
Katheer (d. h. SHAFI'I) mentioned that Imaam al Qurtubi (d h. MAALIKI) as
well as other u'lemaa' said concerning the ayah "And when your Lord
said to the angels ' I am going to place a khaleefah on the earth...'"
(al Baqarah 2:30), "that this ayah proves the obligation of appointing a
khaleefah to pass judgment on matters of dispute between people, to aid
the oppressed against the oppressor, to implement the hudood and forbid
the evil. There are many other tasks that can only be fulfilled by
appointing the Imaam and what is necessary to achieve a duty is a duty
itself..." (IBN KATHEER 'Tafseer al Qura'n al A'zeem [vol.1]) Fourthly, the ayah, along
with these emphatic indications of a unified i'tisaam, also forbade 'tafarruq'
(again, the collective nature of this prohibition was indicated by the plural
verb construction 'laa tafarraqoo' [do not make division]). This meant
that the Muslims should not divide in their beliefs, by their laws, systems nor
by their method of i'tisaam. Fifthly, the asbaab an Nuzool [circumstances of
revelation] of these ayaat clearly addressed the Muslims to re-establish their
Islamic bonds of belief and structure after they had started to divide upon a
non-Islamic basis. Also, the meaning of jama'ah [the unified group] and the
meaning of tafarruq [prohibited divisision] is explained in the hadeeth of Ibn
Abbaas who reported that Nabi (saw) said "Whoever of you sees in his ameer
[leader] something which he dislikes should remain patient for whoever divides
from the Jama'ah by a handspan then he dies, he dies the death of jaahileeyah."
(BUKHAARI, MUSLIM) Therefore the 'Jamah is to be united under the obedience
to one man, i.e. The Khaleefah, Imaam, Ameerul Mu'mineen and Tafarruq is to
separate from this. This is also proven by the following hadeeths..... A'rfajah
reported that the Prophet (saw) said "Whoever comes to you while your affair has
been united under one man intending to dissolve your strength or or divide your
jama'ah then kill him." (MUSLIM kitaabul Imaarah) and Abu Sa'eedul Khudri
reported that the Prophet (saw) said "If the bayah [oath of obedience] has
been taken for two khaleefahs then kill the latter of them."(MUSLIM kitaabul
Imaarah) |

Khilaafah is the Islamic ruling system, also known as Imaamah. In the Arabic language 'khilaafah' means 'succession'. The sharia'h meaning of khilaafah is the succession of the Islamic leadership for the Muslim ummah, it refers to the system of government whereby one man is appointed to organize the affairs of the deen and the dunya.......READ THE REST |
